Kairo broke from the frozen stance and peeked outside. He saw the hunter run to his kill and pick it up. What could he do? The hunter would find them sooner or later. Suddenly, Kairo began growling uncontrollably. Soon, those growls turned to sharp barks at the hunter and soon, leaping out of the hiding spot! Without control, Kairo threatened the hunter more and more and the hunter pointed the gun at Kairo.

OOC: Before in this thread, I said someone told Kairo he would grow up to be evil. The uncontrollable barking has nothing to do with it. He just felt protective and that kind f took over for the moment. So... not exactly sure if the hunter will miss the shot or not. You can decide that if you want.

"Whaaaaa?" Said sleepy eyed Kairo. It took him a few seconds for him to realize that Ginny had said hunter. He sprung up from the cave floor and then froze stiff from fear. He couldn't move.

Kairo dreamed and dreamed. He wondered if Ginny really DID like him. She was so nice, what if she left him? He would be terribly sad. What would he do?

"Thanks!" He said. He chomped down on the juicy flesh as the taste overflowed him. After he ate, he laid down to rest. He thought about Ginny, did she like him back?

OOC: I didnt get an email saying someone posted. That was weird. Sorry.

Ginny gave a soft grin. "Of course Kairo. I'll be right back." Ginny ran outside, following the scent trail of two jack rabbits. She managed to down them both. She carried the two carcasses into the den. "Here you go." She set one down in front of Kairo.

Kairo blushed and laid down. Why did his shoulder not hurt until now? He wondered. Kairo smiled back then stood up. "We'll need some food, I should go out."

Kairo limped out and noticed that it wouldn't be easy. How could he hunt with a sore shoulder? He whimpered a bit then, embarrassed, he turned to Ginny.

"Can you hunt today? I know it seems stupid to ask, you are my guest but I can't run right now." Feeling more embarrassed, he turned his head away.

OOC: Are you going to post on Riptide (Open to all)? I don't know if I killed you yet. Strange thing to ask, Eh?

Kairo pulled himself together. He lifted his leg and thought hard. "Maybe this husky can be nice!" Thought Kairo. "Wait! Come back!" Called Kairo. "I'm sorry, it's just... a husky attacked me earlier... but you might be different! I shouldn't have judged you by your breed, please come back." Kairo felt stupid, hopeless and he felt like nothing. He had scared Ginny off by his mean actions. He felt sorry.

Kairo froze stiff. "Hu... hu.... husky?" Said Kairo stuttering. Somewhere, after he had left his brother, he met a husky. That husky was not the nicest... Kairo had something to hide. It was easy for any wolf to notice. Kairo limped. He could hide it, but it was there. His front left leg stung with pain from the husky attack. From all the shock, Kairo had for gotten about the leg and collapsed on the ground! He stood up and lifted his front leg. He began backing up away from Ginny when he hit a cave wall!

OOC: Never heard of them. It ate my post.

Ginny looked up. "It wasnt a truely bad dream. I used to live with humans, as I am part husky somewhere along the line. They had us pull sleds. It was actually sorta fun. Thats what I was dreaming about." She gave a small smile.

OOC: Have you ever watched Howl's moving castle? I am trying to base Kairo after Howl at the beginning of the movie. Ah studio Ghibli... best studio in the world. Have you watched any of their movies? You should! They are amazing!!!!!

"You looked in pain. What were you dreaming about?" He lay closer to Ginny. Not too close, but enough to be comforting.

Kairo looked at Ginny in shock! What was she dreaming about? Kairo gently nudged Ginny until she woke up. "Are you ok?" Said Kairo. What could she had been dreaming about? It didn't make much since. It looked like she was running, but she was yelping in her dream. This was probably not a nice run for Ginny!

Kairo could sense that Ginny was finally at peace. Kairo, too, felt more relaxed in her presence."Here we are!" Said Kairo, arriving at the cave. He walked in and said "You coming?" Suddenly, a memory struck Kairo. He remembered his dad telling him "You are destined for darkness." At first, Kairo didn't know what it meant, now he knew. Someday he would turn evil, well at least that is what his dad said. Kairo didn't think much of it, anyone who met him could tell he was kind and relaxed.

"You won't be a bother." said Kairo making his way to Ginny. In a gentle tone, he began to speak. "Follow me, I'll show you to the den." With a kindly smile, Kairo walked towards the cave where he slept.
