Whiskey

[[Whiskey]] Newdog_zpsb44280b9

Age: 1 year
Gender: Female
Breed: Cattle Dog X German Shepherd
Personality: Spunky, bold and outspoken. Doesn't like cowards or dishonest folk (liars, cheaters and thieves), or anyone lazy. She can be mischievous and playful, but she is serious when there's work to be done. She likes to make good use of herself, and would never pass up a challenge. She's not afraid of anything, and won't let anyone push her around. When it comes to other dogs, she doesn't have a nasty bone in her, but she wouldn't hesitate to eliminate coyotes and foxes. She would even take on a wolf if she had someone beside her, although she is smart enough to know not to go after a wolf alone. A wild country spirit.

Appearance: A lean and athletic build, she is made to run fast. She can easily chase down other animals, and she is light on her paws to make sharp turns and quick stops. She has tall pointed ears and a rather short tail. She has a bright and sharp expression, often with an "impress me" kinda grin present.
Coat Colour: Mottled gray, blue, black and white
Eye Colour: Caramel
Height: 20"
Weight: 65 lbs

Dam: Sunshine
Sire: Bruzer
Siblings: 6 brothers [Brutus, Dozer, Tazzy, Harley, Dante, Romeo]
Other: None that she's met
Mate: None
Pups: None

History: "I was mama's little angel - said if she had just one more boy, she woulda lost it. I don't blame her. I have six brothers, and every one of 'em is buckwild! But we all had lots of fun as pups. Mum raised us in the barn, and she'd show us how to herd the livestock when the housefolk weren't around. She taught us honest living and hard work. We kept the coyotes at bay in the night, and she showed us what to do if we caught a fox in the chicken coop.

We didn't see Dad much. Wasn't good with small animals - I guess that meant us, too. Mum said it was for the best though; besides, Pops had a much more important job to do, keeping danger off the property. Coyotes weren't nothin' compared to the things he saw! He stayed posted at the front of the house, and you could hear his fearsome bark all day long, chasin' off who knows what kinda threats. Knowing that he kept us all safe was enough.

So, life was pretty simple for the most-part; work hard and play hard. When we got bigger, Mum said we better go make our own lives, beyond the fences, b'fore the housefolk tied us up and took us away. So we left. Didn't know where to go at first, but it didn't take long to catch on to life outside the farm."
